techie

Lula is a real techie.  she has modified our computer settings to the extend that we can barely use it because the display is at approximately 7000%.
You'd think that we could figure out what she did with two dirty paws in one frantic dance move - but we can't.  So, for now, we can sort of check email and sort of put on more youtube videos for her. but, she can only see approx 45% of any given video.
For the record, about a month ago i let her hold my phone for about three seconds and now i can't text without.a.period.in.between.every.word.  for real.  i have no idea how to undo what she has done - on either the phone or the laptop.

way to go lu! if we ever fix this mess we might upload photos/videos.  

girls girls girls

Lula had her favorite cousins here for a sleepover this weekend and she loved it.  They all went to a little gym birthday party (HUGE hit), ate a ton of crap, and played like professionals.  She loves to just walk behind Bridget & Maggie and do whatever they are doing.  And, like her mother, she loves a cousin dance party.  I missed the really good part at the beginning when all 3 were dancing on the air mattress but this is a pretty representative clip of the bedlam here this weekend.  She has her cousins to thank for her new favorite Sweedish pop music - it really makes the Tootsie Roll seem dated.

Its so fun to see them all together now - I can imagine how much fun they'll have when they're a little older.  But I still won't let Lula go with Maggie to visit Bridget at college - been there, done that.  No chance.

adorbs

Lula got a new dress - and I LOVE it!  She seems slightly less in love.

It is a little tight in the armpits - but i think the length and color are perfect!  Is this the beginning of her life long search for the perfect dress?  Being my daughter, it may take her whole life to find the perfect dress :) I hope she always wears ruffle butt tights - they really make the outfit.  The mouse shoes don't hurt but i think the tights are really the deal maker. And, her initials are so lovely - I love the ELL.  

Achooo

Lula has a cold and it is so pitifully sad to listen to her hack & cough & sneeze.  When do little people learn to blow their noses?  I would be thrilled if it was right around the 15 month mark, but somehow I doubt it is.

I hope she feels better soon - not just because she feels crummy - but so I don't feel bad leaving her with Glenna & Mason.

Lt. Chris

Lula really enjoyed visiting with her uncle, Lt. Chris over the holiday.

I think Chris enjoyed it too. 

Christmas

Lula had a great Christmas!  She got lots of presents and had a fabulous time opening them all and then playing with them.

Lula got an Elmo tent and tunnel, a bouncy zebra toy, some custom painted blocks, books, shopping cart, purse, toy trumpet, backpack, and  many other darling toys.  She is lucky to be so spoiled.

Gizmo got nothing but some used wrapping paper.  

He seemed happy enough about it. 

A Christmas Carol

In the Christmas Spirit, Lula acted like Tiny Tim on Christmas and let Maggie push her around in a (now broken) baby doll stroller.
