We got these to go wine cups at the harper white elephant gift exchange. I had NO idea they would be such a huge hit with our kids. They're totally obsessed. And it's good practice for not spilling your drink everywhere.

I was delighted to walk in on this, but I really wish I had heard the conversation that preceded this little set up.

Not surprisingly, Santa was good to my kids. And boy were they happy about it. 

After presents at our house we went to Grammy & pop pops house for more presents! Somehow I took no pictures of that. 

Later we had Christmas dinner at the Christins. It was a delicious and nobody was too put off by Arthur's lack of pants. 

Christmas Eve

I decided not to go to work on Christmas Eve so we went down to the museum of natural history instead. It was so much fun! Arthur loved the metro & trains inside the museum. Lula loved her bagel and the size of the museum. 

Could become a nice Christmas tradition!

After a long nap we got ready for Santa Claus. We had an early bath, got into matching Jammies, had delicious grilled cheese, and bounced off the walls until grand pop showed up to entertain us. There was surprisingly little fight about bedtime.

Zoo-raffe

Last night were as a new book that depicted a giraffe on a train. When I asked the kids what animal was shown they both hesitated before Lula screamed, " a zoorafe!"

I gently told her it was a gi-raffe but the damage had been done with Arthur. He repeated zoo-raffe like 25 times. It does sound more fun than giraffe. 

Xmas scissors

If I hadn't already done some shopping is be ok to just get them both scissors and watch their complete delight in Christmas morning. Why are they so obsessed with scissors? And how long might it take for Arthur to injure himself with these scissors? 

St Luke Christmas concert

The st luke Christmas concert was Wednesday. It was cute and full of nose pickers and uncontrolled wiggles. Lula looked adorably festive and did a great job.

We had a busy Christmasy weekend. Lulas holiday ballet recital, the mini-nut, and cookies w Santa. Oh what fun! Arthur looks pretty delighted to meet Santa, right?
