When I broke out the ice cream clowns for them, I thought they might die of excitement. Here is what happened next.  

Shades

I told him I thought they might be a little bit big for his face but he couldn't be talked out of them. 

Cousin party

Both kids had a blast at Barclays birthday party. I mean, in addition to the spaceships they had juice boxes and pirates booty. 

I did catch arthur walking around and eating cake remnants off strange plates but I can understand. It was good cake. 

Arthur is totally obsessed with this train set! First thing out of his mouth this morning was "downstairs!! Train!!" 

Lu

Last night on the way home from the beach lula woke up just before the bridge complaining that she was cold. I gave her my sweater and she carried it inside when we got home. She dragged it I to my room this morning with her after she woke up and insisted on wearing it. We settled on this wrap dress style so that she doesn't trip and fall and break her nose. 

Another fabulous weekend another failed attempt to get a decent Christmas card picture. 

We had fun in Bethany with grandpop & the cliches. 

Sometimes I wish we could live at the beach all the time. In a locale where the weather was always warm and beach season was always on. 

Feathers

After the passport drama lula needed a little rest on the way home from the hair place. She found this old headdress and insisted on wearing it for the rest of the day. She even did a little Indian whoop thing when we walked into the hair place which may have been racially insensitive, but was also very cute. 

Germany trip.....part 1.

This is going to be a long process....and I skipped the photo taking & form filling out and two trips to posts office (my fault - didn't bring original birh certificates). 

Apron

Arthur helped me make the dinner last night so of course he needed an apron. 

He is trying to put a speaker in his pocket in the first photo. He really looks like noisy Nora in these pictures. 

Yogi bear

Let this be a lesson to me - arthur is like a forest bear. He can smell a turkey sandwich in a bag, in my purse, out of eyesight. He is not shy about helping himself either. 

This is the get up lula wore to the grocery store this morning. 

She brought her furry purse so she could carry some groceries too. 

Last night I gave her a little warm milk before bed and she handed it back to me, told me it was still too cold and asked me to put it back in the microphone. 

Clark elioak

We had a fun Saturday visit to Clark elioak farm. Even though it was hot hot hot, Arthur and Snow White had a fun time.
