Lula met her 2 Florida uncles yesterday and immediately fell in love with them. She walked all the way home from dinner like this:

We had a great weekend. Uncle Chris & aunt Kate came home from Germany and spoiled lula like crazy. Yesterday we went apple picking and lula conned us into a Popsicle when we were done. Not exactly what I think of as a fall treat but she loved it.
Now - we have a big week ahead preparing for THE wedding!!! So exciting.

Pat loves a breakfast date that begins & ends before 7 am.

This morning we put lula in the car to ride to the metro and she found a stray yogurt treat in her seat. She ate it right up and then said to us "I eat treats?"

I hope pat have her some more when they got home.

Too bad lula won't remember what it was like to have a pregnant mom who thought Tuesday night ice cream was a perfectly good idea.

Lula has given me her cold from last week so were both coughing and hacking all day long. Although unpleasant it is terribly cute to listen to her tell me bless you mommy every time I cough. Then I say thank you. Then she says bless you daddy. Then one of us thanks her for the extra bless you. Then we say bless you lula. It's not the correct way to use bless you but it's so cute that we can't help ourselves. The three of us could spend hours saying bless you to one another.
We really should cut it out -maybe well lay down the lay with the next cold.

These days If lula wants to be picked up she will say "holding me" It is so damn cute!

We spent a nice weekend recovering from the sickness that plagued us last week. I think lula finally feels like herself again (even though she milk barfed all over pat at the bagel store yesterday am). I hate to see her sick and I definitely hate the choking and vomiting but I do love all the lazy cuddly movie watching days.

Poor lula is sick. Cough, vomiting, fever.....she is not feeling good.
