Getting ready for a new stroller buddy!

We have royal baby fever at our house and are anxiously awaiting the new prince's name. We're talking about baby names a lot at home and hearing lula say Arthur is so cute I might die.

She is practicing being gentle with a baby doll - good thing we have a few more months to keep practicing.

Lula has a serious interest in cats and dogs lately - this fake dog was a huge hit.

Lula said "I of you" this morning when I was leaving.
I love you too Lula.

Last night after dinner lula and I went walking in the neighborhood looking for cats and dogs. We found 2 nice gray kitties who let lula approach them and give them a quick swat before they ran away. When we turned to head home lula was unhappy and repeated "where are they" the entire way home. I didn't know she knew that phrase but I was happy to explain to her, no less than a dozen times, that the kitties went home to take a bath and go to bed.

Lu got a package in the mail and is so excited about her new Spanish fan. Ole!

Lula had a blast at the beach this weekend. I don't have any pictures of her in her long sleeve/long pants bathing suit but it was a hit! And, with her new floppy hat she is 95% covered from the sun at all times. Yay.

Dop!

When she means "stop" lula now says "dop". If you're walking along the sidewalk and come to an intersection and grab her hand she immediately locks her legs, turns on the tears and screams "DOP! DOP!" At the top of her lungs.
If I was a neighbor I might think she was being abducted when really were just out for a nice family stroll. Complete with total 2 yr old meltdown at every intersection.

My big girl

I see you

Glenna tells lula "ill see you" every day when she leaves. And now lula tells me "I see you" when I leave. It's so cute. She is about 15 minutes from real sentences. Such a big girl.
