Curious George's curious behavior

George spent a lot of time on the toilet yesterday. Not sure why lula is suddenly so into her toys going to the bathroom.

Also, Arthur LOVES his little toolbox full of plastic toys. I like to slip Sophie in there too because he laughs wildly when she squeaks. It's so so cute. You can just keep refilling the box and he would spend hours unloading it. He is such a good little guy.

Lula really loves Arthur so much these days. She particularly loves to grab at his face.

Beach

I learned an important lesson last night - it is best not to mention a trip to the beach until you are on your way to the beach. We got out lulas bathing suits to try them on and I foolishly told her we were headed to the beach today after school. When she realized that she had to take the suit off, take a bath, go to bed and go to school before we headed to the beach she was not pleased.

Once she realized I was not going to take her to the beach last night she started demanding that I take her to Deirdre's. She really wanted to go somewhere in her swimsuit.

Getting better

The sleep training is getting better. This is a shot from 8:30 last night. There was a whole lot of crying around midnight but eventually he went back to sleep.
Here's hoping we don't keep the whole house up all weekend with the continued sleep training.

Sleep training stinks!!!

Oh my god I hate sleep training. Arthur has been freaking out up there for 65 minutes....just losing his shit.

I feel so bad.

Would it be so bad if he just slept in my bed forever and we all woke up up four times a night forever?

6 months

I can't believe this guy is 6 months old already. Boy, that went fast.

So far not so good

The sleep training is not going as well as I had hoped. Poor Grandpop had to listen to Arthur scream for like 3 hours yesterday and he still didn't take a decent nap until he was being held.
Last night was marginally better than the night before but he cried like a maniac when we out him down and again at 3 when he woke up. I should have left him to cry it out in his co-sleeper but I get disoriented when awoken and I picked him up. Maybe I should sleep in the basement so I'm not tempted to cuddle him back to sleep.
Poor little guy. I hope he catches on in the next day or so.

Arthur came with me to get a pedicure today & he was such a dream. Just sat in my lap, flirted with the ladies around us and played with his toy. Everybody told me what a sweet & handsome guy he is. As f I didn't already know that.

Today lula got in trouble at school for too much "mouth kissing" with her friend finian.
God help us all.

Sick sick sick

Poor Arthur is sick sick sick.

It is so awful to watch him be so uncomfortable. I really hope he feels better today.

Maybe more banana mum-mums will make him feel better.
