Someone is wearing new pony underpants today. Yes, she is wearing them over a diaper. Baby steps...

Pumpkin

My little pumpkin picked out her own pumpkin this weekend. Unfortunately she is really attached to it and refuses to leave it outside. I drew the line at pumpkin in the crib but it is inside and covered in princess stickers.

It's hard to say which she enjoyed more....mall rides or wig shopping.

Lula got a pink lap top for her bday and she is obsessed! Yesterday she insisted on bringing it in the car with her to drop me at the metro.

Kitchen

Grammy & pop pop got lula a kitchen for her birthday! She loves it and was so thrilled to see it again this morning when she came downstairs.

Lula practices strolling around with a baby. I like that she isn't ashamed to go for a walk without pants.

Jefe

We were reading the book, the boss baby, this morning and I asked lula if our new baby would be the boss. She didn't think so. I then asked if she was the boss. She liked the sound if that.
We talked about being the boss for a while and then I told her she could be the jefe - and she proceeded to chant "hepe, hepe, hepe" for like 10 minutes.
I've created a lispy monster.

New uggs

Lu got her feet into a nice new fluffy pair of uggs this mornings. And she was happy about it - I'm so glad they fit.

We're trying to make a bigger deal about the new baby lately by bringing out baby stuff to show lula so she isn't totally stunned when we come home with the baby in a few weeks.
We set up a little portable crib in the basement over the weekend which she isn't all that interested in. She is, however, fascinated with the bumbo seat. I thought for sure she was going to get stuck in it but after cramming her buns in there she had a surprisingly easy time extracting herself.

I had no idea she could do this - where have I been?

I had a fabulous day off with lula yesterday. We went to the park twice, shopped at Costco, had lunch at chipotle and took a 3 hr nap.
And we took the tiny German doll with us everywhere we went. Danke uncle Chris & aunt Kate.

Who am I to judge? Or force lula to wear clothes?

Lula had a little fun on the farm after the big wedding last weekend. And after two days with her aunt Deirdre she is insisting on being carried by her at all times and calling her mommy.
